Director of Nursing, Charge Nurse, RN Nurse
The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the clinical leader within the community, responsible for ensuring high-quality, resident-centered services through oversight of health, wellness, and care coordination.
Key duties include leading and managing the nursing team, conducting resident assessments, overseeing individualized care plans, and monitoring changes in resident conditions in collaboration with physicians and clinical partners.
Additional responsibilities involve managing medication protocols, infection control programs, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Driving quality improvement initiatives (QAPI), recruiting, training, and performance managing clinical staff are essential functions.
The RCD also manages staffing, scheduling, departmental budgets, and partners with sales to evaluate move-in suitability.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Clinical leadership and nursing management experience
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and infection control
- Strong team leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to oversee care programs and improve quality standards
