Schedule: 6-week rotating schedule requiring 3 weekends; self-scheduling available

- 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with step-down capabilities at a leading regional referral center
- Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 in PICU; 1:2 to 1:3 in step-down
- Comprehensive case mix including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, ICP monitoring, trach care, and central line management
- Cerner electronic medical record system with Alaris pump technology
- Float opportunities to Pediatrics and NICU for skill development and variety
- Supportive unit environment with dedicated unit secretary (9am-9pm) and shared technician support
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required
- Proficiency in IV starts, catheterization, central line care, and critical care procedures
