Emergency Room Registered Nurse; ED RN Raleigh, NC

Overview

We are seeking an Emergency Department RN to join our high-energy team in Raleigh, NC. This role is open to both experienced ER nurses and acute-care nurses (Med-Surg, Telemetry, ICU) looking to specialize in Emergency Medicine.

• Rapid Assessment:
  Conduct high-level triage and prioritize care for patients with emergent and acute conditions.
• Critical Interventions:
  Manage IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration in a fast-moving environment.
• Emergency Response:
  Lead and participate in rapid response and Code Blue activities alongside an interdisciplinary team.
• Patient Advocacy:
  Provide emotional support and clear education to patients and families during vulnerable moments.
• Collaborative Care:
  Partner with Board-Certified Physicians and specialized techs to ensure smooth, coordinated patient throughput.

• Lifensure:
  Active North Carolina (or compact) RN license and BLS certification.
• Experience:
  
  At least 1 year of RN experience in an acute-care hospital setting (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry).
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS/PALS are required (or must be obtained within the hire window).
