** Med-Surg unit with 24 beds; 6 weekend days per schedule; rare on-call requirements; patient ratio 1:4 or 1:5
** Highlights:** - Specialized oncology and women's surgical unit with diverse case mix including pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis procedures
- Cerner EMR system in place with standard unit equipment
- Day shift staffing includes CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and HUC;
Night shift includes CNC, 4-6 RNs, and 2 CNAs
- Minimal floating required; when needed, limited to other med-surg units
- Collaborative team environment with 42 total staff members
- Contract assignment with potential for extension
** Requirements:** - Active North Carolina RN License (or compact state license with ability to obtain NC licensure)- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Chemo certification preferred but not required
- Med-Surg and/or oncology experience strongly preferred
- Team-oriented personality with willingness to learn and adapt
