Master Special Inspector; MSI

We're seeking an experienced Master Special Inspector (MSI) to join a growing team in Raleigh, NC
. This is primarily a field-based position responsible for performing structural building inspections and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) testing on commercial construction projects. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform special inspections in accordance with applicable building codes and project specifications.
• Conduct field inspections and QA/QC testing for:
• Structural Steel
• Structural Welding
• Reinforced Concrete
• Masonry
• Review construction plans and specifications to verify compliance.
• Communicate inspection findings with contractors, engineers, and project teams.
• Prepare accurate daily field reports documenting inspections and test results.
• Ensure quality standards and project requirements are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction materials testing and special inspection experience
  .
• Current ICC certifications required (All not required):
• Structural Welding
• Structural Steel & Bolting
• Structural Masonry
• Reinforced Concrete
• Strong understanding of construction codes, inspection procedures, and QA/QC practices.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
