Supplier Quality Manager

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Manager to join our team in Raleigh, NC

What You’ll Do
  • Lead supplier quality initiatives including supplier audits, qualifications, incoming inspection, SCARs, supplier scorecards, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Establish and lead MPG’s Receiving Inspection Department, including staffing, equipment, inspection procedures, and quality systems integration.
  • Develop supplier quality standards, inspection criteria, sampling plans, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing to resolve supplier quality issues and improve supplier performance.
  • Create Power BI dashboards, analyze supplier quality trends, and drive data‑based decision making.
  • Develop supplier onboarding processes, warranty programs, return material procedures, and Approved Supplier List (ASL) management.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CAPA initiatives to reduce supplier defects, scrap, and rework.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related field (master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, Incoming Inspection, or Supplier Development.
  • Experience leading supplier audits, SCARs, CAPA investigations, and supplier quality improvement programs.
  • Experience establishing or managing Receiving Inspection or Incoming Quality departments.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality systems, supplier management, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Minitab, ERP systems, and quality analytics tools.
  • SIX SIGMA Green Belt/Black Belt, CQE, or CSQP certifications are highly desirable.
