Summary

The Quality Technician
- Overwrap is responsible for performing line inspections and quality audits to ensure products meet company standards and customer expectations. This role works directly within a manufacturing environment to monitor product quality, validate processes, identify defects, and support continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional products.

What You’ll Do
  • Review job jackets and product specifications to verify production requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and audits throughout the production process.
  • Verify products meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns and non-conforming products.
  • Work directly with operators to ensure quality standards are maintained during production.
  • Utilize quality tools and equipment to measure and validate product specifications.
  • Complete inspection records, quality reports, and required documentation.
  • Monitor critical control points and validate manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze inspection results and support corrective action efforts.
  • Ensure products are properly identified and tracked throughout production.
  • Maintain audit files and quality documentation.
  • Follow all company policies, quality requirements, safety procedures, and ISO standards.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing defects and improving customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, production, or industrial operations.
  • Experience in printing, packaging, or related manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is a plus.
Skills & Abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and production systems.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications, work instructions, and quality documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
