Research ProjectInvestigate the hepatoprotective effects of peanut skin extracts and phenolic compounds on hepatic injury, identifying the underlying cell signaling mechanisms using in vivo (murine model of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease) and in vitro methods.
Learning ObjectivesThe candidate will learn to use in vitro and in vivo research models to understand the role of bioactive components of peanut skins and peanuts in disease prevention and identify mechanisms responsible for health benefits.

Appointment DetailsStart:
February 2026 (flexible). Duration: 1 year, renewable subject to funding. Full‑time position.
Monthly stipend ranging from $30,000 to $50,000 annually.
