Job Duties
Research Assistant needed to provide lab support including mouse colony management, husbandry/injections/tissue dissection, genotyping/PCR, cell culture, tissue processing and immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and RNA isolation/RT-qPCR. Help to train and guide undergraduates, maintain lab organization, and assist with ordering and inventorying.

Minimum Experience/EducationRelevant post-Baccalaureate degree, or relevant Bachelor's degree plus 3 or more years of independent research experience, or substantive relevant independent experience and education. May require terminal degree and licensure.
Department Required Skills- Experience working with rodents- handling, husbandry/genotyping, intraperitoneal injections, etc.
- Possess technical and analytical skills in biomedical research, preferably molecular and cellular biology.
- Possess strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Be able to multitask and work independently with a high level of initiative.
- Have a track record of collaboration, productivity, and accomplishment in a team environment.
- Experience working with and handling DNA, RNA, and protein samples preferred.
- Experience with cell culture preferred.
- Experience with microscopy preferred.
- Experience with flow cytometry preferred. Recruitment Details
