Position:
Temporary Research Technician – Kannapolis
Location:
Kannapolis, NC (Kannapolis Research Department)
Job Duties
- Provide support in managing plant seed collection for the lab, including basic husbandry tasks, genotyping, and collection of tissue.
- Manage routine laboratory duties.
- Use basic software to document and analyze collected data.
- Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties.
- Experience with growing and caring for plants or related plant research.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility with work schedule to occasionally work evenings or weekends during busy periods.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a highly collaborative team.
- Experience with plant molecular biology research (PCR, gel electrophoresis, etc.)
- Anticipated hiring range: $16–$20 per hour.
- Job open date: 02/16/2026.
- Work schedule:
20–30 hours per week.
