Temporary Research Technician – Kannapolis

Location:

Kannapolis, NC (Kannapolis Research Department)

• Provide support in managing plant seed collection for the lab, including basic husbandry tasks, genotyping, and collection of tissue.
• Manage routine laboratory duties.
• Use basic software to document and analyze collected data.

• Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties.
• Experience with growing and caring for plants or related plant research.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility with work schedule to occasionally work evenings or weekends during busy periods.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a highly collaborative team.

• Experience with plant molecular biology research (PCR, gel electrophoresis, etc.)

• Anticipated hiring range: $16–$20 per hour.
• Job open date: 02/16/2026.
