The Department of Psychology consists of 32 faculty members, the staff of the advising center, the staff of the Psycho-educational Clinic, and the four members of our office staff, as well as over 1000 undergraduate majors and 120 graduate students pursuing their doctoral degrees.
The faculty are outstanding scholars, many of whom have won awards for teaching and research and/or are fellows in the major professional societies in Psychology. Job Duties
The department of Psychology is seeking a project coordinator to assist with an NIH-funded research initiative through May 31,2027, with the possibility to continue in this role if new grant funding is awarded. In this role you will coordinate complex, multi-institutional research activities and ensuring project goals, deliverables, and collaborative commitments are achieved within established timelines and resource constraints. Working across research teams and institutional partners, you will coordinate project operations, manage workflows, and maintain the administrative and data infrastructure needed to support successful grant execution.
You will serve as a key point of coordination among investigators and stakeholders, anticipating needs, resolving logistical challenges, and keeping priorities on track. Through thoughtful communication, organization, and follow-through, you will support critical administrative responsibilities, strengthen collaboration, and ensure research teams have the coordination and infrastructure needed to advance the initiative's objectives and successfully meet project milestones.
Project Management
- Collaborate with investigators, operational users, and subject matter experts to understand research and operational needs and support solutions that advance project objectives.
- Establish and track project deliverables, milestones, timelines, and reporting requirements across multiple collaborating teams and institutions.
- Coordinate project roles, requirements, review cycles, and dependencies to maintain alignment with NIH priorities, project goals, and resource constraints.
