Breakfast Cook

Overview

Embassy Suites is currently seeking a dynamic Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. Compensation is based on experience. As a Breakfast Cook, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests by preparing delicious and visually appealing breakfast dishes, with a focus on omelets and other breakfast specialties.

• Prepare a variety of breakfast items, with a focus on omelets, according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet or exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with other kitchen team members to coordinate timing and ensure smooth service.
• Assist with stocking and replenishing breakfast buffet items as needed.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and guidelines for food preparation, handling, and storage.
• Provide friendly and efficient service while interacting with guests in the breakfast dining area.

Previous experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting preferred. Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and familiarity with omelet station operations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak breakfast hours. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation. Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
