• Canter Power Systems currently offers our services in eight states and is the largest provider of residential standby generator installations for Home Depot. We are also the exclusive provider for additional utility partners.

We’re hiring a local sales leader to build revenue and market presence in Raleigh, NC
. You’ll drive growth primarily through in-home, consultative selling to warm customers (inbound leads / scheduled appointments), plus retail touches and field presence our retail partner (Home Depot). This is a “player/coach” role: you’ll sell, build the local playbook, and help scale a repeatable market engine.

• Turn warm demand into a high-close, high-trust in-home sales machine
• Build a local market plan
  : territory coverage, referral flywheel, events, partner touchpoints
• Create retail momentum: strong store relationships, consistent presence, and measurable lead flow
• Establish a performance culture with clear KPIs (and eventually help hire/train others as we grow)

• Run in-home consultations and close generator projects (needs-based, consultative, no “pressure”)
• Own local pipeline performance: lead response, appointment set/show, close rate, financing attach, ASP
• Build relationships with retail program stakeholders
• Execute local marketing + community activation (events, partner outreach, referral sources)
• Coordinate with operations on job readiness, pricing discipline, and customer handoffs
• Track performance weekly and drive continuous improvement (scripts, objections, follow-up cadence)

• Consistent in-home appointment volume and improving close rate
• Clear local market plan with weekly execution rhythm
• Visible retail relationships and a repeatable “retail touch” playbook
• Clean pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy

• 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience (in-home, D2C, home improvement, HVAC/plumbing/electrical/solar preferred)
• Strong local market hustle: can build relationships and create momentum beyond just “running leads”
• Comfort working evenings/weekends as needed for homeowner appointments
• Valid driver’s license; able to travel locally daily

• Experience with retail programs (Home Depot / Lowe’s) or manufacturer referral networks
• Home services leadership experience (training/mentoring other reps, team standards)
• Familiarity with financing and longer-cycle ticket sales ($10k–$25k+)
• Competitive base + uncapped commission (top performers above $100k/year)
