- Experience analyzing RF or high‑power semiconductor devices via experimental and/or numerical methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with moderate supervision.
- Comfort in collaborating with students, faculty, and staff of varying experience.
- TCAD device modeling with Silvaco or Synopsys tools.
- Fabrication of semiconductor devices for high‑power or RF applications.
- Characterization of materials and devices, including failure analysis, defect inspection, radiation effects, and high‑k dielectrics.
- Device behavior extraction via electrical testing, particularly on‑wafer methods.
- Lithography mask layout.
- MES and SPC systems.
- Statistical methods (DOE, GR&R) and tools (JMP, Minitab).
- Valid NC Driver's License required? No.
- Commercial Driver's License Required? No.
- Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8‑5 with overtime as needed. - Some candidates will have significant cleanroom responsibility; must be able to work on feet up to 8 hours per day.
