Associate Director Implementation Science

Description

The Associate Director/Director, Implementation Science supports or leads the scientific strategy and execution of long-acting HIV prevention and treatment medicines. This role designs, guides, and interprets mixed-methods research to generate evidence that strengthens adoption, scale-up, and real-world optimization of novel medicines.

• Support or lead scientific design and methodological frameworks for implementation science studies.
• Oversee qualitative and quantitative analyses, clinical study reports, manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and evidence summaries.
• Partner across relevant cross-functional teams to align IS evidence with strategic needs.
• Manage scientific contributions from partners and agencies.
• Guide dissemination strategy across conferences and internal communication channels.

• Advanced degree (PhD, ScD, DrPH, MD, PharmD or Master's degree with significant scientific leadership experience in implementation or real-world research).
• At least 3-5 years working in a pharmaceutical industry or pharmaceutical‑adjacent role.
• Experience leading implementation science, health services research, clinical or mixed‑methods studies.
• Strong scientific communication and cross‑functional partnership skills.

• Experience in HIV prevention or care.
• Expertise in implementation science frameworks (CFIR, RE‑AIM), hybrid designs, or implementation outcomes.
