Responsibilities- Assist research scientists with ongoing field projects on local and state water bodies.
- Daily travel and field work in all weather conditions.
- Support general laboratory-based activities.
- Maintain field equipment, calibrate sensors, and keep detailed logs.
- Other laboratory and field duties as directed by supervisor.
10-15 hours per week between 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, with flexibility as needed.
Compensation$15 per hour
Requirements- Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties.
- Proficiency in data collection.
- Experience with equipment calibration using water quality sondes, light meters, and current meters.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis.
- Valid driver's license required; valid NC driver's license required.
