Theriogenology Intern

The Theriogenology internship at North Carolina State University is a 1-year program that is clinically-based with an emphasis primarily on equine and canine species, with additional experience in bovine and small ruminant species. Duties and responsibilities include participation in reproductive cases and emergencies in the equine and small animal hospitals. Clinical duties will also involve participation in the breeding management, embryo transfer and assisted reproductive techniques (ARTs) of mares and stallions housed at the Theriogenology clinic at the Reedy Creek Farm in Raleigh, NC.

The intern will be involved in clinical teaching of veterinary students and participate in current research projects of the Theriogenology section. Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent degree.
