Junior Microbiologist

Alliance Biotech Solutions LLC seeks a Junior Microbiologist to support environmental and industrial hygiene testing projects. Responsibilities include sample collection, culture and molecular analyses, environmental monitoring, data interpretation, and preparation of technical reports under senior supervision. You will follow strict QA/QC and safety protocols, maintain lab equipment and documentation, and assist with method development. This role offers hands-on exposure to biotechnology, regulatory standards, and client-facing project work in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental and industrial hygiene microbiological testing using culture and molecular methods
• Collect, label, and process environmental samples following established SOPs
• Apply aseptic technique and maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment
• Conduct environmental monitoring and document observations accurately
• Analyze and interpret microbiological data under senior guidance
• Prepare clear, concise technical reports and data summaries for internal and client use
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments
• Follow QA/QC procedures and support compliance with GLP/GMP or ISO standards
• Document all work in lab notebooks, LIMS, and electronic records
• Collaborate with scientists and project managers on client-focused, science-based solutions
