Combination of training and experience to perform job duties

Department Required Skills

Bachelor's level training in biology, environmental science, hydrology, natural resources, or related field
Experience conducting field-work in environmental discipline through previous positions or coursework
Comfortable working on large water bodies (rivers, lakes, reservoirs)

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

Experience with electrofishing, working on watercraft, and acoustic telemetry
Experience with scientific technical writing/editing
Experience with basic data analysis and R programming
Boating experience

Required License or Certification

Valid driver's license

Valid NC Driver's License required?

Yes

Commercial Driver's License Required?

$18-$20/hr
