** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help support controlled movement of staff, contractors, visitors, and/or vehicles in accordance with site policies.

+ Support security-related operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
