What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining awareness of surroundings and following post orders.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and support law enforcement and/or facility staff during security-related responses when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
