Security Officer Weekend Patrol

Security Officer Weekend Patrol in Raleigh, NC is a part‑time role where you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. You can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. In this role you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication.

Sunday 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and customers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observed activity and report concerns to site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support site protocols for opening, closing, and restricted areas.
• Assist with security‑related inquiries and directions, maintain a professional presence, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders during routine and unusual events.

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment per state and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
