As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Raleigh, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.92 / Hour

Job Schedule: Monday: 07:00 AM – 06:00 PM, Tuesday: 07:00 AM – 06:00 PM, Wednesday: 07:00 AM – 06:00 PM

• Provide customer service at a government location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, public areas, and restricted spaces to help support authorized access, observe visitor activity, and report policy violations or maintenance issues.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or public personnel regarding security-related procedures, directions, and incident-related information.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
