Part Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Sat: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
- Sun: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and parking locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation; maintain professional communication with site personnel and members of the public.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
