Responsibilities
- Perform detailed fire safety and periodic maintenance inspections assigned.
- Verify smoke detectors are functioning properly, in date, clean, and in the correct location.
- Install products such as smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and residential fire suppression systems.
- Educate tenants on fire safety and proper use of detectors and suppression systems/products.
- Take appropriate pictures that coincide with the inspection report.
- Complete electronic reports with pictures that detail the findings of both the fire safety inspections and smoke detector inspections, condition of the residence, and any products installed.
- Complete daily inventory counts of all products on the work truck to include pre-shift counts, products installed counts, and post shift counts.
- Ability to travel to other territories as assigned

- Knowledge of fire prevention and fire suppression.
- Basic knowledge of smoke detector types and residential fire suppression systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems.
- Basic understanding of computers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with power tools on and off ladders.
- Ability to use mobile tools and applications.
- Ability to operate a Truck or Van with Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.
- 2 years supervisory experience (Preferred)
- Experience with inventory control (Preferred)
- 3-5 years of related field experience (Preferred)
- Experience working independently
