Job Title

Audio Visual Technician

Status

Hourly/Non‑Exempt | ($18.00 - $25.00 per hour)

General Manager

Responsibilities
  • Daily set‑up, operation, and strike of audio visual equipment in a hospitality environment.
  • Specific category (audio, video, lighting) knowledge and operational skill and/or facility‑specific knowledge.
  • Assists with equipment quality control, inventory management, and local operational duties as determined by the General Manager and Warehouse Manager.
  • Promote exemplary customer service to both our facility customers/partners and our mutual end‑user clients. Acts as primary liaison to clients on the event floor.
  • Maintain a professional image, as well as a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Shares with the ON Site team in evening, weekend, holiday, and split‑shift calls, to accommodate customer needs
  • Complete all required daily paperwork, as well as required ON Site training
  • Any duties as assigned to support the General Manager or Warehouse Manager, to assist in the goals of growing revenue, cutting costs, supporting partner hotels in the region, improving customer service scores, or problem resolution.
Education/Experience/Certification
  • High School Diploma or GED required;
    Some college preferred.
  • Three years’ experience with in‑house or production warehouse audio visual services.
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles, including fleet vehicles (up to 26' box truck).
  • Background in music, recording, audio visual, computers or related technology fields preferred.
  • Written, verbal, and comprehension skills in English required. Fluency in a second language is helpful.
  • Must have finger dexterity to operate office and audio visual equipment as needed.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills must be demonstrated.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Requires physical mobility, including sitting, standing, walking, stooping, climbing, crawling, grasping, writing, repetitive motions, bending, listening, with applicable hearing and vision ability.
  • Work is performed indoors and outdoors as needed.
