Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, General Labor, Building Maintenance
This full-time position includes Firing Range/Bullet Trap System Operations, Maintenance, and Repairs for various range installations located at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The candidate shall provide weekly range maintenance, inspection, and repair services as necessary to ensure all facilities, systems, and equipment are in optimal working condition. Clean indoor ranges and shoot houses of lead to a set limit. Dump spent rounds from buckets to drum.
Weekly inspections of ranges, maintain and service outdoor ranges to keep operational for training. Change filters on Dust Collection Units as required. The position responsibilities also include waste management and disposal (reporting, inspection, shipment, etc.), routine filter changes and maintenance on Air Handling Units, and support of the recycling program.
Must pass background check and access security requirements and must be able to work independently.

- 40 CFR (Resources and Recovery Act)

This position is expected to be approximately 40 hours per week
Certifications/Training/ Licensure- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Must be able to lift 50 to 80 pounds repeatedly
- Requires lifting, bending, stooping, and walking carrying 50 to 80 pounds on uneven ground
- Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm
- No travel beyond the Camp Lejeune facility anticipated
