What you will do
Johnson Controls Inc. is looking for forward‑thinking talent to support the fast‑growing HVAC business in North America.
Responsibilities- Work on light commercial and/or heavy commercial teams with advanced equipment.
- Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
- Repair centrifugal, steam turbines, absorption machines, open‑drive screw chillers and ammonia systems.
- Use factory certification through Service Technical Academy to support customers.
- Provide quotes, solutions and recommendations to ensure facility efficiency.
- Partner with Journeymen, Servicemen and apprentices for repair and troubleshooting.
- Travel up to 20% to support branch customers.
- Minimum 3 years commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
- Experience with rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, compressors, plumbing and mechanical shaft alignment.
- Ability to use vibration equipment to troubleshoot drive lines.
- Pass knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.
- Valid driver’s license and universal EPA refrigerants license or applicable state/local licensing.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Self‑starter with a passion to learn and apply on the job.

Pay Range: $38.23 hourly rate in Min Scale, negotiable based on skill level as determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
