Installation Technician

Overview

The Installer will be responsible for site prep work, simple carpentry work, and the installation of all TBA product lines.

• As a representative of the company, the Installer is responsible for the behavior and performance of the crew, and will be evaluated on customer feedback (including online reviews).
• Review work jacket with supervisor.
• Review and confirm accuracy of breakout in accordance with customer contract.
• Perform site prep which includes any work needed to modify the existing structure.
• Carpentry work can include deck modifications, dormer installation, overhang cutoffs, wood knee wall builds, wall alterations, floor and ridge plates, and finish carpentry work.
• Simple and complex decks.
• Demolition.
• Layout and cut all materials to install the job.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work site.
• Install All View, Comfort View, and Solarium products.
• Ability to complete basic carpentry duties such as dormer attachment, fascia removal, standard fascia attachment, etc. Able to build simple decks as well as demolition of old rooms.
• Performs service work.
• Collect necessary stage payments from customer when applicable.
• May be responsible for set up, take down, and repair of displays used for various outside marketing events.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The Installer must complete the Apprentice Development Program and have a minimum of 3-6 months of in‑field training prior to promotion.

• Post‑Installation customer service survey, top score 90% or better.
• Online reviews, 10% of jobs installed.
• Responsible for crew efficiency in accordance with GDI guidelines.
