What you will do- Knowledge of maintaining, repairing, and installing conventional and addressable fire alarm systems. Knowledge of multimeters and/or decibel meters.
- Capable of performing physical labor including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding, crawl spaces and above ceilings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and operation/product manuals.
- Perform inspections and installation activities on electronic fire systems.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One (1) year of experience in Fire Alarm systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Electrical installation experience.
- Excellent customer interaction skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs unaided by management.
- Self‑starter who can work with minimum supervision.
- Pass criminal background check and drug test.
- Have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
- Be able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.
- Three (3) years of experience in Fire Alarm Systems.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19-$24 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
