We are looking for a Rigging & Crane Operator (Level I) for the Sie Saw skid assembly team in Knightdale, NC.

$22.33 per hour.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of experience in crane operations and rigging within industrial or construction environments (Level I).
• Working knowledge of crane load charts, rigging methods, lift planning, and critical lift execution.
• Current NCCCO Crane Operator and/or Rigger certification (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of OSHA crane and rigging regulations and safe work practices.
• Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management.

• NCCCO Lift Certification.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience in manufacturing plant, power generation, or large industrial facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered lift plans and technical drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coordinating across multiple teams.

• Operate cranes safely: lift, move, and position loads under supervision using bridge, gantry, or runway cranes.
• Follow hand signals, verbal instructions, and load charts from riggers, signal persons, and supervisors.
• Verify load weight, center of gravity, and integrity against load charts before lifting.
• Assist with rigging: secure loads with slings, chains, shackles, spreader bars, or other lifting gear under supervision.
• Pre‑shift inspections: inspect cranes for safety issues such as hoist, trolley, bridge, hook, cables, limit switches, and controls.
• Log activity: record lift details, equipment checks, and any issues in required logs.
• Communicate clearly with ground crew to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain safety compliance: follow OSHA, ASME B30, and company safety procedures; report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
