Maintenance Technician
Properties: Platform and Oldham & Worth in Raleigh, NC
$500 Sign-On Bonus
Seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to join Kane Realty Corporation, a Raleigh based company with significant growth potential. The Maintenance Technician will be part of a team responsible for the overall maintenance and all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance operations.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:- Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting
- Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
- Make ready units for new move-ins
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems
- Responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance (pre-scheduled times)
- Must be available to work some weekends
- Perform preventative maintenance activities
- Complete grounds work such as gathering waste, sweeping and light landscaping
- Pool maintenance
- Coordinate special projects as directed by maintenance supervisor or property manager
The Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees.
Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Must be able to have a strong attention to detail and handle multi-tasking throughout the day.
Education/Qualification- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous maintenance experience in multi-family housing
- HVAC Certification (CFC certification) & CPO
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment criminal history & drug screen
