Wide Format Service Field Engineer

Duncan-Parnell seeks a Wide Format Service Field Engineer to install, maintain, and repair wide-format printing equipment for AEC customers across the Southeast. You will diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues, perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and upgrades, and train end users on proper operation. Partner with sales and support teams to deliver responsive, customer-focused field service. This hands-on role requires strong troubleshooting skills, comfort working on-site at customer locations, and the ability to manage independent field schedules and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission wide-format printing systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and firmware/software updates.
• Train end users on printer operation, basic troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Document service activities, parts usage, and resolutions in service systems.
• Coordinate with customer service and sales teams to support customer needs.
• Manage field schedule, travel, and on-site visit priorities independently.
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and a clean, professional work environment.
• Provide technical feedback to improve service processes and customer experience.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and company policies while on customer sites.
