We are looking for an Electro-mechanical Quality Test Technician II to join our team. This position will be based in Knightdale, NC.
The Electro-mechanical Quality Test technician is responsible for performing final test and inspection duties on Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment,such as Switchgears, Switchboards and Breakers.

Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesYou’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in testing, Inspecting and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
- Experience working with various types of test equipment and have knowledge to conduct Hi-pot tests safely.
- Must have the ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists, to include circuit troubleshooting.
- Must have the ability to work with large power cables including correct method of crimping connectors.
- Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- High School Diploma / GED
- Residential or commercial electrical education or certifications
- Perform final electro-mechanical inspections on units, ensuring adherence to company quality standards and guidelines.
- Conduct nondestructive tests on equipment according to specifications and drawings, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports, working professionally with Engineering and Wirers during tests and reporting findings.
- Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
