We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our fast‑growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can‑do attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and an active EPA Certification.
Job Responsibilities- Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, and food service equipment to identify repair or replacement needs with no mistakes/callbacks
- Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units, or replace parts of existing units according to specifications of 15 tons+
- Maintain larger PM contracts with more than 5 units
- Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls
- Service and troubleshoot mini‑splits and/or replace smaller RTU’s and mini‑splits for 15 tons or less
- Communicate with Dispatch to ensure completion of scheduled jobs
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for customers
- Provide elite customer service to every customer encountered
- Continual learning and development through First Call Academy to set the bar for skill level in the industry

This position reports to the local Branch Leader and is responsible for engaging with the service team and all of our customers.
Qualifications- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- Active EPA Certification
- 5+ years’ experience in a commercial HVAC setting
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Manufacturer Certification is preferred
- Available to work flexible hours and on‑call shifts as needed
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Language Skills – Ability to read, comprehend, and write correspondence; explain problems and resolutions to customers; communicate updates with account managers.
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rate, ratio, percent, and interpret graphs.
- Reasoning Ability – Apply common sense, deal with problems with multiple variables, prioritize tasks; help lead over and teach helpers and tech I’s.
- Physical Demands – Regularly use hands, stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift up to 50 lbs; specific vision abilities required.
