- Oversee day-to-day activities on assigned project and serve as LLV's main representative on site.
- Provide on-site leadership and direction for team and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with other trades through both BIM and in the field.
- Plan ahead and manage tools and material for assigned project.
- Perform quality control.
- Accurately and timely prepare and produce reports such as JSAs, daily reports, and material requisitions.
- Produce and maintain as-built drawings throughout the duration of the project.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, contractors, and inspectors.
- Work with tools as needed or required.
- Mentor and train apprentices to help build the future workforce.
- Must be able to read, interpret, and understand all project drawings and specifications.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of the NEC along with common trade procedures and standards.
- Must have working knowledge of line and low voltage controls.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have basic computer skills and be able to use an iPad or tablet.
- Must be able to positively identify wire colors and sizes.
- Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and be willing to learn and work with others.
- Must be able to perform work safely with required PPE.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including (but not limited to) bending, hunching, kneeling, and standing/working on your feet for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. by themselves.
- Must be able to climb and work off ladders and other elevated surfaces such as lifts.
- Must be able to work in different elements such as heat, cold, wind, and rain.
- Must possess the minimum required tools for LLV.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
