Role Description The Electrical Service Technician is a full-time role based in Raleigh, NC. This role involves performing electrical service calls, maintenance, and repair on a range of systems and equipment at customer locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting faults, executing corrective repairs, and completing routine preventative maintenance. The technician will respond to field service requests, document work performed, and ensure all tasks comply with safety standards and local codes.
The role also includes interacting with customers, explaining findings, and providing clear recommendations to support safe and reliable operation of their electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Strong maintenance and repair skills for electrical systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics for electrical issues and performance issues.
- Experience in field service, including on-site inspections, service calls, and reporting.
- Effective customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and use of relevant tools and test equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical work preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and work orders.
- Capacity to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing site conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and eligibility to travel locally for on-site service work.
