About

The Role

We’re looking for Control Wiring Technicians to perform electrical wiring, component installation, testing, and troubleshooting for industrial control panels and related electrical systems. You’ll work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, bills of material, wire lists, and approved work instructions to produce clean, accurate, serviceable, and test-ready wiring. The role offers progression from foundational wiring and assembly work through independent troubleshooting, complex assignments, technical support, and working-lead responsibilities based on demonstrated proficiency.

What

You’ll Do
  • Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, bills of material, wire lists, work instructions, and other approved documentation.
  • Prepare, route, label, terminate, and organize wires and conductors according to drawings, approved wiring practices, and production requirements.
  • Install and wire control-panel components such as terminal blocks, relays, breakers, fuses, power supplies, PLC-related components, and other assigned devices.
  • Perform panel layout and related fabrication tasks including measuring, marking, drilling, tapping, cutting, fastening, and mounting components when required.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, wire-processing tools, measuring devices, multimeters, and other electrical test equipment safely and accurately.
  • Perform continuity checks and assigned electrical testing and verification activities and document results according to approved procedures.
  • Inspect wiring, routing, labeling, terminations, component placement, workmanship, and other quality requirements before work moves to testing or the next production process.
  • Identify and communicate wiring discrepancies, missing or incorrect components, drawing conflicts, workmanship issues, and test failures.
  • Coordinate with Electrical Assembly, Engineering, Quality, Materials, and other functions to resolve production needs, drawing questions, approved changes, and technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate wire lists, redlines, work orders, test records, quality checklists, and other required documentation and business-system records.
