JJ Bus & Truck Repair Inc is looking for a skilled Diesel Technician with A/C certifications to join our team in the Raleigh, NC area! We are a growing and expanding company in the School Bus industry. If you're passionate about your work and can bring that pride to us, we are looking for you. We need someone with HD experience and knowledge to help us keep school buses and trucks running at peak performance while preventing break downs and down time.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered school buses and trucks
• Perform and maintain NC school buses to NC state standards. Perform NC 30-day inspections
• Perform A/C system inspections, repairs, and recharges on heavy-duty vehicles
• Conduct preventive maintenance services including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks
• Troubleshoot electrical, engine, transmission, and drivetrain issues
• Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve mechanical faults
• Complete accurate repair orders and maintenance documentation
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and DOT compliance requirements, as well as NC state standards

• Proven experience as a Diesel Technician working on buses, trucks, or other heavy-duty vehicles
• EPA Section 609 A/C Certification required or ability to acquire
• ASE Certifications in Medium/Heavy Duty Truck or School Bus is preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, HVAC, and electrical diagnostics
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams
• Must supply own set of professional hand tools
• Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
• Knowledge and experience working with Cummins Insite, J-Pro, Allison Doc, and other diagnostic software programs
