Maintenance I​/E Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance I/E Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems within a manufacturing facility. This role is critical to maintaining reliable equipment operation, supporting productivity, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electrical and instrumentation systems, including low-voltage AC/DC controls and 480V three-phase power circuits.
• Maintain and repair production equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
• Document maintenance activities, calibration records, inspections, and work orders using a CMMS system such as Maximo.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and commissioning projects.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues independently and identify root causes of failures.
• Partner with maintenance supervisors, engineers, OEMs, and vendors to resolve equipment issues and improve performance.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of Instrumentation & Electrical (I/E) maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with voltages up to 480V.
• Working knowledge of electrical testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and commitment to safety.

• Associate degree or technical degree in a related field.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems such as Maximo or MP2.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, calibration standards, and cGMP requirements.

  Work is performed throughout a manufacturing facility, both indoors and outdoors.
• Exposure to heat, noise, chemicals, dust, oil, and industrial equipment may occur.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs as needed.
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirators, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and protective clothing.

Reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
