Level 2 – Low Voltage Audio/Video Technician II

Summary:Performs installations independently and assists with system commissioning and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:- Install and terminate structured cabling systems.
- Mount and connect AV equipment, displays, projectors, speakers, and control devices.
- Read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
- Conduct cable certification and testing.
- Troubleshoot basic system issues.
- Coordinate with customers and other trades on-site.
- Maintain project documentation and as-built drawings.
- 2–4 years of low-voltage or AV installation experience.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Experience with cable testing equipment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
