Electrician Foreman - Industrial

Job Description

East Coast Construction Services, LLC (ECCS) has evolved into a dynamic industrial electrical contracting firm serving the Southeastern U.S. We are expanding our capabilities and growing our field teams!
We are currently seeking an Electrician Foreman skilled in industrial electric contract work. This is a working leader role: you will run a small electrical crew, own assigned project phases, and keep Superintendents informed to protect schedule and quality.

The person we want has already run small teams in an industrial environment, has owned stretches of a job from plan through close-out of that phase.

The Work

• Plan and assign work by person and area, lead the huddle, remove constraints, and keep production.

• Direct Journeymen, apprentices, and helpers, coach in real time, and set a high-bar standard.

• Take assigned electrical scope — sequence, materials, access, quality hold-points, and next-day readiness — from plan through close-out.

• Read current drawings and specs, install to NEC and company standard, and verify before cover-up.

• Run pre-task / JSA discussions and enforce PPE, housekeeping, and stop-work authority.

• Identify labor, materials, tools, access, permits, and information early enough that production does not stall. Coordinate with other trades.

• Same-day daily log, manpower, quantities (same budget code as labor hours), delays, issues, and clear photos — every job, by cutoff.

• Flag drawing conflicts, material or access gaps, quality risk, and crew issues to the Supervisor before they become schedule problems.

Requirements

• Journeyman electrician license (NC preferred).

• Proven record as a working Foreman or lead on industrial electrical work.

• Demonstrated experience running small crews and owning project phases from daily plan through phase completion.

• Can interpret drawings, details, and installation requirements without a translator.

• Safety leadership that shows up on the job: JSAs that control hazards, stop-work used correctly, incidents reported the same day.

• Proficiency in Procore preferred for daily logs, photos, manpower, quantities, and field notes.

• Valid driver’s license; able to work jobsite hours, including early starts and weather-exposed conditions.
