The Johnston County Department of Social Services has an immediate opening for a Social Worker II, Child Protective Services Intake, in the CPS Unit. This role screens alleged abuse/neglect reports and assists in deciding jurisdiction for investigations, with referrals to law enforcement and community resources as warranted.
The worker will interview children and adults, gather facts, perform background checks, and work primarily from the agency office.
