• Design and Develop Embedded Software Applications
  :
  Create high-performance, responsive embedded software applications using the Qt framework, ensuring seamless integration with hardware components.
• Lead Architectural Design
  :
  Drive the architectural design of front-end software, focusing on modularity, scalability, and maintainability, ensuring software and hardware components work in harmony.
• Collaborate Across Functions
  :
  Work closely with hardware engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
• Mentor and Guide
  :
  Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure Code Quality
  :
  Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices, and implement testing strategies to validate software functionality and performance.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve
  :
  Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in embedded systems development and verification, to drive innovation within the team.
• Document and Share Knowledge
  :
  Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, processes, and testing procedures, and share knowledge with the team to ensure continuous improvement.

• Expertise in Embedded Software Development
  :
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in embedded software development, and 3+ years experience using a UI framework.
• Technical Skills
  :
  Proficient in C++ and Qt/QML, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience with embedded Linux.
• UI/UX Design Principles
  :
  Knowledge of UI/UX design principles as they relate to embedded systems, and demonstrated experience in writing, debugging, and optimizing C/C++ code for embedded systems.
• Soft Skills
  :
  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proven leadership abilities with experience managing technical projects and mentoring team members.

• Additional Programming Languages
  :
  Experience with Python and familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment tools (Jenkins).
• Automated Testing
  :
  Experience with automated testing using the Squish library for Qt.

Relocation assistance will be considered.

Salary: $128,000 to $176,000 annually (established range may vary by location, experience, and skill set). Eligible for discretionary bonuses.
