Sr Manager, Software Systems

Join Baxter International Inc. as a Senior Manager, Software Systems with relocation assistance. This role is based in Raleigh, NC, and involves leading a team of engineers to develop innovative software solutions for medical devices, specifically the Novum IQ Infusion Platform.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing a team of system engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of software for infusion pump platforms.
• Overseeing multiple projects within infusion systems, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Recruiting, mentoring, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Ensuring software and systems meet regulatory and safety standards for medical devices.
• Leading software requirements, risk management, and project planning activities.
• Promoting Agile development practices within the team.
• Representing the software engineering team in stakeholder communications.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience or Master’s with 8+ years.
• Experience managing technical teams in medical device software development.
• Strong background in systems engineering, software requirements, and risk management.
• Proficiency with development tools like Jira and Doors.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $160,000 to $220,000 annually, comprehensive benefits, and a flexible work environment. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
