Position OverviewWe are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Charlotte-based IT team. Reporting to the VP of IT
, this developer will design, build, and maintain both front‑end and back‑end applications that support the company’s rapidly growing operations. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working across the stack, and contributing to a high‑velocity startup environment.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: scoping, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop and optimize cloud‑based applications using modern technologies.
- Build new software components and enhance existing systems based on evolving business needs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
- Build and maintain backend applications with Node.js using frameworks such as Express.js and Nest.js.
- Develop user interfaces using React or React Native.
- Implement automated testing to support reliability and scalability.
- Work with relational databases and emerging data technologies.
- Use Git Hub for version control and Git Hub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
- Apply secure coding practices and contribute to application security compliance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile development processes and sprint planning.
- Use Jira to manage tasks and communicate progress.
- Assist with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and iterative product improvements.
- Hands‑on experience with Node.js.
- Familiarity with Express.js, Nest.js, React, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of relational databases and modern data systems.
- Experience with Git Hub / Git Hub Actions or comparable version control tools.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web security principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Experience with Python, Golang, Java, or Ruby.
- Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience working in a startup, healthcare, or regulated environment.
