As a Senior Applied Scientist, you will be instrumental in advancing AI, particularly in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, to deliver transformative solutions for healthcare and enterprise clients.

• Work closely with product managers to convert business needs into impactful AI projects.
• Partner with fellow technical leaders for the successful and timely delivery of models and service integrations.
• Collaborate with international teams to transition projects from research proof‑of‑concepts to full production.
• Innovate new healthcare and enterprise features using the latest advancements in generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Design and review AI solution architectures, focusing on data, model training and best practices for evaluation.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to both junior and experienced applied scientists.
• Write production‑ready code while championing excellent coding practices.
• Engage in project planning, review and retrospectives.
• Identify and proactively mitigate risks that affect business and engineering outcomes.

• Demonstrated success in creating and deploying scalable AI models in production.
• Robust technical knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques, especially Transformers.
• Hands‑on experience with contemporary LLM and generative AI technologies, including efficient fine‑tuning methods.
• Familiarity with leading LLM frameworks and plugins.
• Proven ability in designing data collection and annotation solutions for production system support.
• A strong commitment to staying abreast of advancements in AI to effectively tackle complex business challenges.
• An impressive publication history in reputable journals or conferences.
• Experience in leading teams of scientists.

• A background in healthcare AI development.
• Knowledge of the latest computer vision and multimodal modeling advancements.

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Linguistics, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning or Deep Learning preferred; or
• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in a related area with 5+ years of relevant experience.
