Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that need to be deployed at a client end, ensuring they meet 100% quality assurance parameters.

• 1. Instrumental in understanding the requirements and design of the product/software:
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Investigate problem areas following the software development life cycle.
  • Facilitate root‑cause analysis of system issues.
  • Identify ideas to improve system performance and availability.
  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible designs.
  • Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts on detailed investigations.
  • Consult with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities.
• 2. Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development:
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, and software development proposals.
  • Develop and automate processes for software validation by setting up and designing test cases, scenarios, usage cases, and executing them.
  • Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
  • Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of existing systems.
  • Ensure code is error‑free and passes all tests.
  • Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
  • Ensure code complies with project/program/account norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns.
  • Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation and reports as requested.
  • Coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress and document it.
  • Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risk, and report to stakeholders.
• 3. Status reporting and customer focus on an ongoing basis:
  • Capture all requirements and clarifications from the client for higher quality work.
  • Take regular feedback to ensure smooth and on‑time delivery.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices and new programming languages.
  • Consult with engineering staff to evaluate hardware/software interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions with flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
  • Publish formal reports for proper understanding from proposal to implementation.
  • Ensure quality interaction with customers regarding email content, fault report tracking, phone calls, and business etiquette.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests; avoid any complaints internally or externally.

• 1. Continuous Integration, Deployment & Monitoring of Software – 100% error‑free onboarding & implementation, throughput, adherence to schedule/release plan.
• 2. Quality & CSAT – On‑time delivery, management of software, troubleshooting queries, customer experience, completion of assigned certifications for skill up‑gradation.
• 3. MIS & Reporting – 100% on‑time MIS & report generation.

• Compensation Range: $60,000 – $135,000 (varies by location, wage, skills, and experience).
