Java Backend Developer; Microservices & Data Integration @ Raleigh NC; Hybrid W2

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with 10+ years of experience in building scalable microservices and data pipelines. The role focuses on backend development, distributed systems, and integration of enterprise data platforms.

Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 10+ years of backend development experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java (8/11/17+) and Spring Boot
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems
• Strong experience with data pipelines (batch & streaming)
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka (event‑driven architecture)
• Experience with cloud platforms:
  Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Spring Batch, Kafka Streams, or Spark
• Solid understanding of API integrations and system design

• Experience with Kubernetes / containerization
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
• Knowledge of Open Stack or infrastructure engineering
• Experience integrating with Salesforce / Oracle systems
• Experience with Airflow or data orchestration tools

• Develop and maintain Java‑based microservices using Spring Boot
• Build and optimize data pipelines and streaming solutions
• Design event‑driven architectures using Kafka
• Integrate external systems with cloud and enterprise platforms
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on architecture and delivery
• Support CI/CD and deployment processes

• Strong backend‑focused Java developer (not UI‑heavy)
• Experience working on large‑scale enterprise or financial systems
• Hands‑on with data integration and cloud environments
• Comfortable working in onsite hybrid model (NC‑based roles)
• Proven experience in high‑performance, scalable systems
