Software Engineer, Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications. To excel in this position, your background must include strong experience across these core areas:

• Programming Proficiency: Strong experience in modern enterprise development stacks using languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Java Script .
• Architecture & Backend: Proven ability to build scalable web applications, backend infrastructure, distributed systems, and manage API integrations.
• Database & Ecosystems: Solid understanding of relational and/or No
  
  SQL databases, alongside version control tools like Git
  .
• SDLC & Methodologies: Deep knowledge of full software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Mandatory Background:
  State Government or Public Sector experience is REQUIRED for this role.

• Experience deploying software within cloud environments (
  AWS, Azure, or GCP
  ).
• Familiarity with Dev Ops workflows,
  CI/CD pipelines
  , and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  .

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and architects to translate business goals into highly functional technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while conducting peer reviews to maintain top-tier application security and optimization.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including software workflows, system designs, and system architecture mapping.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working directly in software engineering or enterprise application development.
